The effects of crack cocaine go beyond the physical repercussions. People who use crack cocaine may initially feel exhilarated and alert, but this can quickly be replaced by feelings of anxiety, depression and even delusions.

Fatal Consequences
People who have pre-existing heart conditions, or who use crack cocaine incessantly, put themselves at high risk for death when using this drug.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, all users of crack cocaine are at risk for death, even if they are only occasional users.
